How Good Is Your Chess?

23/12/2024

On the last club night before the winter break, Rob Colston led a "How Good Is Your Chess?" session. This was based on a mid-1990s game between two outstanding junior players. At each stage of the game, each of us tried to anticipate the best move for the White player, and points were awarded depending on how strong that move would have been.
Ishan Kumar scored the most points overall, ahead of all the club's seniors. Hanhan Wen scored the most points among the club's juniors. Congratulations to both!
