In Division 2, Bearsden A continued their winning run against Polytechnic B and Stepps B. Unfortunately, their run was then broken by a narrow away loss to Queens Park A. (The latter team's venue is a cramped poorly-lit pub basement, which would be more suitable for a disco than for a chess club!) Bearsden A still lead the division with 12/14 match points, followed by Strathclyde University with 10/14 and Queens Park A with 9/12.
Also In Division 2, Bearsden B are on 1/8 match points. Their only draw was against Queens Park A! However, they can still avoid relegation if they make the most of their matches-in-hand.
In Division 4, Bearsden C are in mid-table with 5/14. Cathcart C are the runaway leaders with 14/14.
